Recipe of the Day

Who say's you have to eat this on St. Patty's day only!
Spiced Corned Beef
2 medium onions, sliced
2 cups baby carrots
5-6 potatoes, quartered
2 1/2 - 3 lb corned beef brisket
1 cup Guinness beer
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tsp orange peel , finely shredded
6 whole cloves
2 tsp prepared mustard (yellow)
Place onions, carrots and potatoes in slow cooker. Place beef on top of veggies, fat side up. Combine beer, brown sugar, orange peel, cloves, and mustard. Pour over meat. Cover.
Cook on Low 10-12 hours, or High 5-6 hours
